Hello everyone,
You may be wondering why you haven't been greeted by the usual "Bonjour monamies"...but sadly, I cannot say that I am your Don LaBonte. I am his commanding officer, Captain Scott (my real name is unecessary)...and I am very emotional as I write on the blog of his favourite website in his stead.
You may have read the sidebars...and they are indeed correct...our friend Don LaBonte was killed in action recently....which you may have guessed by his lack of activity on the site.
Since I cannot give you his adresses (or that of his family)....I figured that it would be a good gesture to leave this page in memorium to our dear friend. I will be contacting as many people on his friend list as possible...and will answer any questions that I can.
I am terribly sorry that we met under such terrible conditions.

Bonjour Monamies!!!
Well, just checking on on everything.... getting ready for Christmas here at the base! Some Russian (soldiers) have shown up. Which is.....unexpected. At least some of my training buddys in the GRU are here again... nothing like getting drunk in the mountains over war stories! My buddy Ivan (I can't say his real name.... he's Russian, you guys understand I'm sure) says that there are rumours that the U.S., Canada, and Mexico are going to be one country. If this goes
