Man, you don't get it... THEY'RE NINJAS. Of course Superman wouldn't see them coming. The ninjas have already planned for the unfortunate situation where they might have to take Superman out. You have to look really closely to see it... well, you need to really enhance the picture and get it down to pixel level... but in Superman Returns you can clearly see a ninja hiding behind one of the threads in Superman's stupid leotard. Of course, being a master of hiding, the ninja is behind a black thread so it makes it really hard to find him.

I know ye don't wanna a pirate opinion. But, if a pirate can take a ninja, what to say the supes?

About that: Is ninja, or batman, or other one that is above average able to pick on Superman?

Hmm... No.

- "Butt Batman has Kryptonite", you would say.

- Oh! in that case, I would say... NO!

- "But Batman already winn over superman on Comics", you insists.

Well, I recall most of them. The main one was Dark Knight. Superman was weakenered by a nuclear blas before he went to Gothan TALK - see? TALK - to bats. Batman never stopped attacking draining all the resources of Gothan Citty - While superman go only deffensive and trying to talk off the fight. Batman had the help of ... eh... something that once was Green arow and the anti-supes' favorit Green Kryptonite. And even thow, it was a close one... Imagine if Superman had some agressive impulse?

On almost all the others, a brain-controlled Superman moving slow as a turtle, never dodging or thinking creativly was the opponent. Or even the writers pushed too much for bats. And all the plans were around the green-k.

There were others were Superman were not aware of the fight. He went near, say "hi Bruce", and Batman falls over him with milion-dollars equipment, Green-k and no response. Is that a Fight? You show your hand for one of your long-term friend and colegue and have something over you like that? And particullary, If I had super-speed I would be out of that trap in two times and throw Bats on the moon. But the writers...

See, Kryptonite - all the answers to anti-supes prays - has the reach of eye-sight. Superman can turn distance in a heartbeat, and can see throw almost anything. I already mencioned on Superman: Doonsday when he throw away a entire room of Kryptonite that Luthor thought could be enought to take him. If you wear lead to block superman's senses, you also gives him ways to block The Green-k.

Yes, someone can take superman if he has green-k, gets him completely 100% off-guard, strikes him real bad at once and don't give him space to take his breath back. Those circunstances can only be reasonably placed if the opponent know who is Superman, where to find kryptonite, has a reasonable ammount of time for preparation, and do it. You must consider that Clark Kent doesn't has "A.K.A Superman" on his Diary Planet presscard and Fortress of sollitude is not on the list.

So, "ninja", "The Batman", or "regular joe with a kryptonite Stone" can beat Superman if a lot of ellements are completely agains him and some background things are completely ignored. This is not a Fight, It's an ambush. A Fight is go to the back alley in Metropolis, Scream: "Yo, Boxes-over-the-pants" Guy! I have a green shining stone here and I wanna se what you would do 'bout that!. Big Blue scan with x-ray vision, sees the opponent, and thinks: "Okay, It's On!".
